The Williamstown campus holds a special place in Westbourne’s history as well as being a vital part of our current teaching and learning program.
The iconic Monomeith building and beautiful learning spaces create an environment for exceptional education for our young learners from Prep to Year 4. The transition program to Truganina for Year 5 creates a seemless integration for the whole year level and contributes to building confidence and independence in our students.
Westbourne Truganina is a multi-site campus built across expansive landscaped grounds where the learning spaces support our Kindergarten to VCE teaching and learning philosophy ‘Inspire’.
Amici Early Learning Centre is a benchmark of exceptional programs and facilities with beautifully designed and equipped learning rooms and play areas. Winjeel Prep to Year 2 is designed to encourage collaboration and inquiry learning within contemporary indoor and outdoor spaces. The unique Year 9 program is accommodated at The Geoffrey Ryan Centre which is bordered by an environmental precinct and wetland. Years 3 to 6 learn and play at The Verdon Centre which sits in the middle of the school and facilitates a sense of belonging to a larger community, and interaction between Junior and Senior students. Senior School students transition across classrooms located in the Horsburgh Centre and the original section of the campus established in the late 1970s.
The first stage of Westbourne’s masterplan has been commissioned with the commencement of construction of The Middle School which will accommodate Years 5 to 8 once operational. This multi-story campus will be a truly contemporary learning environment with an innovation hub, collaboration spaces, a student run cafe and a health and wellbeing centre.
Due to construction of the Middle School, Tours of The Verdon Centre and The Geoffrey Ryan Centre have been suspended. If your enrolment enquiry is for these year levels please contact the school. We invite you to take a virtual tour of the Middle School here:
