Westbourne Institute for Leadership and Growth is the anchor of our leadership ecosystem. It aligns established programs and incubates new initiatives – equipping students, staff, alumni, parents, and the broader community to lead with courage and confidence.
People come first at Westbourne Grammar and as a key pillar of the 2030 Strategic Map, the development of people is our priority. Through these immersive programs, mentoring, and real‑world projects, participants will challenge themselves and embrace bold to create meaningful change.
From student leadership initiatives to professional development and community projects, the Institute is a hub of ambition, and innovation – connecting and amplifying the work of our teaching and learning community and Westbourne’s vision of shaping learners who inspire the world.
Leadership Streams
Staff
Our staff are the catalysts of a thriving leadership culture. Through the Institute, educators and professional staff access targeted, practice‑focused development that aligns established programs with new, needs‑driven initiatives.
Students
Leadership begins with voice, courage, and action. The Institute brings together existing student programs within a cohesive leadership pathway, while also creating purposeful new opportunities for students to discover their strengths and lead in real contexts.
