New playground for Williamstown

A new playground is set to take shape at Westbourne’s Williamstown campus, with planning now underway in partnership with Omnitech Playgrounds.

The thoughtfully designed space will feature a straight slide, rope climbing challenges, twirl bars and monkey bars, alongside two spiral slides rising 2 metres and 2.8 metres high. A shade roof has also been incorporated to ensure sun protection throughout the year.

Designed to encourage movement and imagination, the playground will provide students with new opportunities to challenge themselves physically and socially during the school day.

This initiative forms part of a raft of exciting developments outlined in Westbourne’s 15 year Masterplan, which is guiding investment across both campuses to enhance learning environments and community spaces.
