Staffing News – Nov 2018
In an earlier edition of eHorizons, I outlined changes to the class teaching arrangements for 2019 across the Junior School.
In terms of Specialist staff, we also have several changes for next year.
- Mrs Natalie Van Elst is finishing her time at Westbourne at the end of this year, so she can devote more time to her family. Her work in the Library across the Winjeel and Williamstown campuses has been greatly appreciated. A replacement for her is currently being finalised.
- Mr Harry Wyatt who has been on leave in Europe throughout 2019 will not be returning, as he has decided to stay overseas. His contribution to the PE and Sporting program in the Junior School has been considerable. Meanwhile, Ms Cassandra Betadam has been appointed in an ongoing capacity to replace him.
- Mrs Lynne Mehmed stepped in to cover the Winjeel Art classes this term and I am most grateful for her doing so. Again, we are in the process of finalising a Visual Arts teacher for the P-2 (Winjeel) classes next year.
Two of our teacher aides are also finishing their time with us at Westbourne. We thank Mrs Vanessa Blazey and Ms Lauren Houareau for their work in the Learning Enhancement Department.
I wish to thank and acknowledge all the staff who are leaving at the end of the school year, and I wish them every success for the future.
