Our History

Shaping learners since 1867

For nearly 160 years, we have believed in the boundless potential of young people

Our story began in Williamstown where it continues today. From the start, our community showed courage, determination, and resilience. We welcomed girls in 1885, and continued to grow and change with the world around us.

Transforming open paddocks into places of possibility

In the late 1970s, we laid the foundations for our Truganina campus – transforming open paddocks into thriving learning spaces. Milestones along the way mark our growth, from the opening of the Amici Early Learning Centre to the launch of the Sports and Aquatic Centre.

Through every era, our pioneering spirit has remained strong. As we look to the future, we continue to evolve – shaping students who are ready to lead, contribute and make a difference in the world.
